Tukur Buratai; two South East Governors – Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State; and his Anambra State counterpart, Willie Obiano; and some other state actors may appear before a United States of America court to testify over their alleged complicity in the torture and death of Biafra agitators.

The Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) in a statement issued yesterday, claimed that the US Government had rejected a request by Nigeria Government for the intervention of the US State Department to stop the affected individuals from appearing before the US court.

IPOB had filled a suit in America against some state actors for their alleged complicity in the torture and death of some Biafra agitators in Abia and Anambra States.
