OMG! Migrant 'roasted alive' in Libya

The viral photo above purports a migrant seeking transit to the Europe through Libya was roasted alive by Libyans.

As shared on Facebook by former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, some of the migrants are believed to have been sold into slavery, tortured or worked to death by Libyans.

This is the latest in the series of ugly slave trade reports to emanate from the North African country.

Fani-Kayode wrote, “Roasted alive! This is what Libyans do to sub-saharan Africans who are looking for a transit point to Europe.

“They sell them into slavery and either murder, mutilate, torture or work them to death.

“All this yet not a word of condemnation from President Muhammadu Buhari or other African leaders.”

A footballer sent out without a red card after being caught fingering somebody ass

Ponte Preta defender Rodrigo earned a red card in bizarre circumstances to help condemn his side to relegation - after trying to poke a finger into an opponent's backside.

With a fear of the drop from Brazil's Serie A on the line on Sunday, Ponte Preta were leading relegation rivals Vitoria 2-0 before collapsing to a 3-2 defeat that sent them down.

The catalyst, on 20 minutes and with that two-goal lead in hand, was the sending-off of Rodrigo – the centre back being dismissed for his assault on Vitoria's Rodrigo Tellez.

Television replays showed Rodrigo grabbing the Vitoria man from behind and appearing to jab a finger into his backside in an off-the-ball situation.

Ghen Ghen!! Nigerian Senior Custom Officers cheat in promotional exams

As has been witnessed severally in examinations like WAEC, JAMB and others, some dull head senior officers have been found to cheat and indulge in series of malpractices in a recent promotion examination conducted by the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).

As a result of the barefaced and shameless malpractices, which rocked the promotion examination for officers moving from the rank of Assistant Comptroller to Deputy Comptroller, the NCS management has pronounced the entire exercise cancelled.

SHIPS & PORTS DAILY gathered that the examination exercise held on October 11, 2017 was marred by irregularities including leakage of examination questions.

A Customs circular dated November 22, 2017 signed by the Deputy Comptroller General, Human Resources Development, Ronke Olubiyi announced the cancellation while Monday, November 27, 2017 has been fixed for a repeat of the examination at the Customs Command and Staff College Gwagwalada Abuja.

The circular with reference number NCS/ABJ/HRD/5…

Embassies of Sham

A video went viral concerning our embassy in London. It shows a protest in front of the embassy by a number of Nigerians. Using a public address system, the man who seems to be the leader of the protest calls out to the ambassador to come out and answer some questions regarding how he runs the embassy. The man makes several allegations of corrupt practices going on at the embassy and insists the ambassador must answer these questions before he and his group leave the vicinity of the embassy. Why am I not surprised by this video?

My initial perception of that embassy was formed in November 2011 at the World Travel Market in London. The World Travel Market is the world’s largest tourism event, which pulls the travel industry together in different regions around the world. The London chapter is the largest gathering of professionals and investors in the travel and tourism industry. Last year, it attracted more than 50,000 visitors and exhibitors from around the world. It provides one of…

My Collabo with Sark was a waste of time - Yemi Alade

Nigerian Afropop singer and songwriter, Yemi Alade has described as unfair and unprofessional the attitude exhibited by Ghana’s hiplife don Sarkodie over a planned collaboration between them.

She said Sarkodie disrespected her and her team by refusing to show up for the numerous schedules they made for a video shoot.

Yemi in an interview on Wednesday, November 22, said ” It’s super unfair, unprofessional and unkind for international or any other artiste to have a dealing with anybody and after agreeing to certain things you don’t come through at all, I can count three different countries and three different venues that my team and I had an agreement with the artiste (Sarkodie) in particular and he didn’t come through”.

The ‘Johnny’ hitmaker added that though Sarkodie never got back to apologize for the conduct, she has gotten over it.

“The good thing about the whole thing is that I already had my name so I’m not bothered, he never got back to apologize and I’m over it. He asked that …

Davido was beaten black and blue in Atlanta Georgia USA

So Davido decided to do a little tour in Atlanta Georgia USA but somehow forgot that he had stepped out of Nigeria where his antics go unpunished. He made to pull one of his usual stunts there and got beaten like a helpless little thief.

Reports have it that the troublesome DMW boss visited a certain restaurant in Atlanta called Lagos Restaurant and Juice Bar to have a good meal alongside his crew. After his meal, he rose with his crew and moved towards the back door of the restaurant to smoke weed like he did some time ago in another foreign country and went scot free.

As he moved towards the back door, an Iranian attendant in the restaurant who lacks knowledge of who Davido is, stopped the singer and directed him to the front door, telling him that smoking is prohibited in the restaurant and can only be done outside the premises. As usual, David lashed out at the guy and they got physical. However, the guy won.

The video of the showdown has been kept from trending on social media. …
