The PDP is working out strategies to form the majority and take control of the National Assembly ahead of the 2019 general elections.
The party is also wooing former and serving governors who initially left the PDP for the APC to return before the second quarter of 2018.
A former PDP Zonal Legal Adviser (North Central) and a frontline contender for the office of National Publicity Secretary, Barrister Mohammed Kabir Usman, disclosed this yesterday while addressing newsmen in Abuja.
Usman who said the National Assembly would be controlled by the PDP before the end of the second quarter of 2018 further stated that it had become necessary for the former ruling party to reclaim power in 2019.
He also said that some PDP members in the National Assembly who left the party before and after the 2015 polls would return after the December 9, convention.
